The XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors for the detection of metal objects up to 60mm without physical contact. The oscillator produces an alternating electromagnetic field that exits the detection area of the sensor. Any metallic object penetrating this field is then detected. This general purpose threaded cylindrical (M18) inductive proximity sensor is made of metal and it is flush mountable. Its nominal sensing distance is 15mm, it supports 1 normally open 2-wire discrete output and it has a switching frequency of 25Hz (AC voltage) / 1000Hz (DC voltage). It works in a temperature range of -25°C and +70°C, it is dustproof and waterproof (IP68). It is made of metal. It measures 61.4mm (length) x 18mm (diameter) and weighs 0.12kg. IP65 and IP68 protection makes this product ready for the harshest environments.
