The XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors for the detection of metal objects up to 60mm without physical contact. The oscillator produces an alternating electromagnetic field that exits the detection area of the sensor. Any metallic object penetrating this field is then detected. This general purpose cubic case (40 x 40 x 70mm) inductive proximity sensor is made of plastic and it is non flush mountable. Its nominal sensing distance is 40mm, it supports 1 normally open + 1 normally closed PNP discrete output and it has a switching frequency of 500Hz. It works in a temperature range of -25°C and +70°C, it is dustproof, resistant to water jets (IP65), waterproof (IP67), resists high pressure and steam cleaning (IP69K). It is made of plastic. It measures 40mm (length) x 70mm (width) x 40mm (depth) and weighs 0.149kg. IP67 protection makes this product ready for the harshest environments.
